Their mission statement is to enhance the health and well being of the people of the District of Columbia and the greater metropolitan area through their promotion, protection, and representation of the physician assistant profession.
GRSA is a membership organization whose purpose is to promote sailing in the Richmond, Virginia area. Located southwest of Richmond on the Swift Creek Reservoir, GRSA has hosted over 30 years of one-design and PHRF handicapped racing. They feature a full season of racing and social events, with several active fleets.
HIAPBA’s mission statement is to enhance the business and civic arena in which its members operate; to promote, advance and safeguard the business interests of its members; to promote cooperation and open lines of communication between its members and local government; and to serve as a vehicle for members of the Association to be responsible business citizens.
MOAPA serves the needs of PAs and PA students who work or reside in the state of Missouri. As the voice and advocate of PAs in Missouri, MOAPA promotes continuing education for its members, provides PA employment information to PAs and physicians, and strengthens the role of PAs by supporting and encouraging membership in MOAPA.

NSA offers workshops, seminars, conventions, support materials, and other learning opportunities. The National Speakers Association – Washington, DC (NSA-DC) is one of the largest of NSA’s 37 area chapters. We serve more than 150 speakers in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware.
SPAO-HNS is the official specialty organization for Physician Assistants in ENT and is recognized by both the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the American Academy of Otolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS). The goal of SPAO-HNS is to promote the growth and development of Physician Assistants in the ENT field. This non-profit organization was founded in 1991 and is operated exclusively for the educational and scientific benefit of its members.
VA-ASLA’s mission is to enhance the practice and benefits of landscape architecture in Virginia through advocacy, education and service.
VOTA is the state association that represents Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants who live and work in the Commonwealth of Virginia. VOTA seeks to increase public awareness about occupational therapy and its value in meeting diverse health and participation needs.
